Stature 4.3 Released

Stature Risk Management has been significantly enhanced with the delivery of a comprehensive risk assessment framework which includes templates, dashboards and workflows designed to provide rapid adoption of the 4.3 release for new clients. The templates include an expanded array of methodologies, including Bowtie and Fault-tree Analysis.

The framework delivers on all aspects of the Risk Lifecycle by delivering methodology-oriented templates for Identification & Assessment of risk ; Integrated workflows to achieve Mitigation & Control of identified actions ; and, Out-of-the-box Dashboards to support Monitoring & Review of enterprise data.

All of the SRM templates delivered within the 4.3 framework are integrated with the new out-of-the-box dashboards.

SRM Templates

Stature Off-line Client (SOC): The Stature 4.3 release is ideal for companies who perform risk assessments at remote locations, out-of-range of corporate IT systems. The Stature Off-line Client allows clients to check-out individual risk assessments to a portable platform which can be utilised whilst off-site. At the completion of the workshop activity, the study can be returned to Stature for ongoing management.

The Stature 4.3 release also provides revision and version control of risk assessments in addition to managing the study through lifecycle states, further enhancing the support of the Risk Lifecycle concept. Furthermore, Baselines (read-only copy) of a study can be generated at critical milestones which are ideal for audit & compliance purposes.

The Stature platform is available in Australia and New Zealand via EnVizTec's partner agreement with IHS Inc., the market leader in Operational and Quality Risk Management solutions.

Using Bow-Tie in Stature.

Bow Tie Analysis is a graphic alternative to traditional Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies. It provides a visual representation of the causes of undesired events, likely outcomes, and corresponding hazard mitigation or control measures. With the undesired event on the center of the diagram, safeguards are identified and evaluated on the right side while post-event consequences are positioned on the right. The resulting diagram is intended to make it easier to be understood by all levels of operations and management.

Stature allows you to develop a knowledge library of mitigations and controls that are both effective and preventative. A Bow Tie Analysis in Stature can be linked to other studies, such as HAZOP, LOPA, or SIL, to deliver more robust risk assessments of your systems. Stature turns your Bow Tie Analysis into a dynamic, predictive tool to evaluate your most critical safety systems and prioritize safeguards.

Bowtie in Stature

Stature Bow Tie highlights:

  • Drag and drop graphics and intuitive user interface.
  • Provide visibility through dashboards and leading and lagging indicators of risk controls and mitigation, resulting in a more comprehensive Process Safety Management program.
  • Conduct incident investigations and manage changes in processes with a lifecycle approach and draw from historical knowledge.
  • Create knowledge-driven LOPAs that leverage consistent corporate terminology and lessons learned and link risk assessment studies.

Integration of FTA in Stature.

FTA Stature

Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) is a top-down approach for analyzing pre-event failures with systems in development, beginning with the top event (the potential failure), then determining all the ways it can occur. Similarly, post-event failures can be analyzed to find the root cause of the failure.

With Stature, your standalone FTA studies can be integrated into other risk assessment studies, such as FMEA and PHA, in your enterprise risk management system. Stature FTA comply with a variety of industry regulations, including: IEC 61025; NASA Fault Tree Handbook with Aerospace Applications; NUREG 0492.

FTA Calculations

The following are just highlights of the features in Stature FTA:

  • Provides Static Gates, Dynamic Gates, Events (basic, undeveloped, dormant, spare), Reports (including cut set and importance measures).
  • Event Failure Modeling - Constant Probability, Constant Failure Rate with Repair, Weibull Distribution, Dormant and Spare Event.
  • Calculation Options - Minimal Cut Sets, Unreliability, Unavailability, Failure Frequency, Number of Failures, Downtime, Mean Time to Failure and Mean Time Between Failure.

GDF SUEZ Bonaparte has selected STATURE Risk Management Solution

GDF SUEZ Bonaparte, based in Perth Australia, has selected STATURE as a core technology in meeting the Risk Management needs of the Bonaparte LNG project.

GDF SUEZ Bonaparte is the operator of the Bonaparte LNG project which aims to develop the Petrel, Tern and Frigate gas fields in the Timor Sea, 250km west of Darwin in NW Australia. Stature Risk Management overcomes difficulties of the traditional spread-sheet approach to risk management by enabling various project teams to establish comprehensive risk registers and share key performance indicators with management on a continuous basis. Stature Risk Management is an enterprise software solution allowing cross-study knowledge sharing and global risk visibility with a centralised database. Allowing teams to create, share and access risk assessments via the web, Stature ensures that information from projects and risk studies are shared across all plants and sites so that best practices and lessons learned can be re-used by multiple teams.
